Ice Sensor

The sensor system is able to detect the presence of water or ice films on surfaces and its operation is based on a patented technology developed in the Neuronica Laboratory. This capacitive system is particularly interesting for monitoring the conditions of the road surface, since it does not require electrodes or other electrical parts that can be exposed to the stress of the cars. The experimental results show that the system not only detects the presence of ice or water, but also the exact point of ice formation, which is one of the most important information for road safety.

Temperature-Humidity Sensor

It is a small-sized humidity and temperature sensor used to measure relative humidity and temperature in air and other non-aggressive gases.

Infra-Red TemperatureSensor

It is a reduced contact temperature sensor, specifically designed for target temperatures below zero. In particular, the sensor is able to detect temperatures down to -40 degrees Celsius.

Android based Temperature-Humdity Sensor

This device was designed to monitor and record data regarding the relative humidity and temperature of four separate rooms. The entire system, consisting mainly of four parts, is designed to perform both real-time online monitoring and offline analysis of sensor data.

Very Low Cost USB Temperature Sensor

NeuroTermoUSB is a pen drive temperature sensor, interfaced via USB with a personal computer. The peculiarity of this sensor is the very low cost thanks to the construction starting from discrete components.

USB Temperature Sensor

TinyWest is a temperature and humidity sensor sized for pen drives, interfaced via USB with a personal computer, whose peculiarity lies in the size, precision and self-calibration function.

Microclimatic Meteo Station

Climtronic is a small micoroclimatic weather station used to measure and evaluate comfort indices in the workplace.

ECG Sensor Bracelet

It is a wireless acquisition system based on a microcontroller that allows you to record the ECG signal by simply touching the bracelet with the palm or finger, the acquired data is then sent to the Android or Windows user interface.

TIMEX

It is a timing system developed by Neuronica Lab for Freescale CUP, a global competition in which student teams compete on a specifically designed and built model car.
