Eros Pasero was born in Alessandria, Italy, on 1955. He graduated in Electronic Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino. From 1987 to 1990 he was Associate Professor of Electronics at “Tor Vergata” University of Roma, where he designed analogical circuits for Artificial Neural Networks.
Since 1991 he has been professor of Digital Electronics at the Politecnico di Torino. He was the founder of “Neuronica Lab”, a laboratory for research and development of neural networks.
In 1993 Eros Pasero was with the International Computer Science Institute at the University of California, Berkeley, as Visiting Professor.
He was involved in 2002 (National Institute for Nuclear Phisics) INFN national project “Haptic” for the study of new methods and devices for tactile trasduction of printed words he is now the national responsible of STIPER, a new INFN project for the implementation of portable devices for blind people.
Eros Pasero is the scientific coordinator of AWIS project (Airport Winter Information System) since 2007. In AWIS field a pool of winter road-maintenance service Companies, four Politenico di Torino Research Groups and SAGAT (Società Azionaria Gestione Aeroporto di Torino)-the handling company that is managing Torino Caselle airport-are completing a techical and informative system, suitable to resolve winter and weather environmental emergency at the airport.
2010 ITACA project indicated Eros Pasero as the go-to professor for researching on artificial neural networks in development of foodstuffs roaster systems.
2010 INFN GRATAMA (Graphical Tactile Matrix) project has him as national coordinator of research parts in realizing a polymeric tactile low energy-consumption matrix, useful to build portable E-book for blind people.

Teaching activities are dealing since 1980 with more than 50 courses for undergraduated and Ph.D students in Italy and abroad.
Actually Eros Pasero is tenured of Electronics Interconnection, Power Electronics and Electromagnetic Compatibility at Politecnico di Torino.
